Thankyou to all of you who have attended activities so far this period
and hope anyone we haven't seen that we see them soon Putt Putt golf:
4 of us attended and we spent
more time laughing then getting the ball in. There were some "holes-
in- one", but more often a bit of a jig on the putting green after
more than 5 attempt just didn't get that ball in. Thai Dinner Newtown:
A
great turn out. About 9 people from the group and good to meet some
of our new members. Thanks Margaret for organising. Italian
dinner Allawah:
A massive turn out as two social groups of friendly women combine to form
a great group of about 26 ladies. Members of Jackie's Clan as well as
their guests joined us. It was nice to meet some new ladies and have
a few laughs. Thanks Danielle for organising and Karen for her multitude
of guests. Games Night:
Attendance of 4, however a fun night was had drinks nibbles, girlie chatter and
a mean game of "Trouble". Thanks to Dini for organising. NEWS: update on the
new Committee: Membership update: The current membership stands at 22. New membership has slowed down, perhaps because it is winter. There are still inquiries being generated from the website, as well as a lot of phone inquiries.
BIRTHDAYSHappy birthday to the following people who have had birthdays or have them upcoming over the next few months: Sue W, Ros, Helen, Susanna, Margot, and Margaret. And happy birthday to anyone who may have been missedON THE UPCOMING CALENDARThere are few activities on offer for the next couple of months. Please peruse the calendar and hopefully there will be something that is to your liking. Thankyou to those who have volunteered time for the activities on the calendar.
